In the realm of automotive innovation, JAGUAR F-Type ZP recently unveiled its ultimate gasoline-infused sports car, christened the F-Type ZP Edition.

This exclusive variant stands as the conclusive model to house an internal combustion engine, marking the impending transition of the esteemed British marque to electric propulsion by 2024.

A mere 150 specimens of the Jaguar F-Type ZP Edition, available in both coupe and convertible configurations, are slated for production on a global scale.

A select few are destined for Australian showrooms during the inaugural quarter of the approaching year.

Jaguar Australia discloses that Down Under will witness the arrival of 24 coupes, devoid of any convertibles, each commanding a substantial price tag starting at $373,547, inclusive of on-road expenses. This proclamation solidifies its position as the most exorbitant F-Type to grace the Australian market.

The distinct identity of the Jaguar F-Type ZP Edition, whether in coupe or convertible guise, is forged by diamond-turned 20-inch alloy wheels adorned with the emblematic ‘ZP’ insignia.

This nomenclature extends its presence to the treadplates, dashboard, and a uniquely numbered plaque, encapsulating the exclusivity of this limited production.

The ‘ZP’ nomenclature pays homage to Jaguar’s illustrious past, specifically the 1961 E-Type Project ZP, the inaugural race-conquering E-Type that shares a palette with the F-Type ZP Edition.

In alignment with its predecessor, this special iteration offers a choice between Crystal Grey Gloss or Oulton Blue Gloss exteriors, with Australia earmarked for 12 units of each variant.

Both exterior palettes, meticulously curated by the SV Bespoke team, find enhancement in the form of a porcelain white hand-painted roundel adorning the doors, seamlessly harmonizing with the corresponding grille frame.

Internally, the Oulton Blue Gloss iteration boasts Mars Red and Ebony Black leather upholstery, while the Crystal Grey Gloss variant features Navy Blue and Ebony trim, adding a bespoke touch to the cabin’s ambiance.

Under the hood, the Jaguar F-Type ZP Edition proudly houses the same supercharged 423kW/700Nm 5.0-litre V8 engine omnipresent in the F-Type R and F-Type 75 Editions.

Mated to a ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system, this powerhouse propels the elegant coupe from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 3.7 seconds. Its top speed is electronically capped at 300 km/h.

Jaguar’s Managing Director, Rawdon Glover, elucidates, “As Jaguar embarks on the boldest transformation in its history, to become a modern luxury all-electric brand from 2025, this is an unrepeatable celebration of Jaguar’s internal combustion sports car provenance.

He continues, “The F-Type has captivated sports car drivers for more than a decade, just as the E-type did five decades before it.

The ZP Edition is the ultimate celebration of that lineage, joining an illustrious roster of heritage-inspired collector’s editions, including the 2015 Project 7 and 2020 Heritage 60 Edition.
